Why Doing Laundry is a Struggle

She returns to the laundromat and investigates every corner carefully. As she watches her clothes go through the wash, she notices a strange phenomenon. Every time a pair of socks goes into the washing machine, only one comes out. She discovers that her missing socks are being eaten by the washing machine! She alerts the laundromat owner, who checks the machine and finds a small hole in the rubber seal. Mystery solved!

The woman learns her lesson and begins to wash her socks separately in a small mesh bag. No more sock-eating washing machines for her!
